Classification and purchasing common sense of flame retardant protective clothing

Flame retardant protective clothing classification and purchase common sense. Flame retardant protective clothing is a personal protective product that can make clothes carbonized to form insulation layer and slow down the flame spread after receiving flame and hot objects directly. The quality of products should meet the requirements of GB8965-88 standard.

1. The structural design should meet the following requirements:

1. Comfortable, light, and beneficial to human activities.

2. The coat bag should be covered to prevent the splashing of molten metal or other dirt into the bag.

3. Ventilation pores can be retained in the appropriate place to facilitate air circulation, perspiration, and temperature adjustment. But the pore can not affect the strength of the garment structure and make the external foreign body invade the interior of the garment.

Two. Clothes:

When the temperature is 60, the flame-retardant property of the general synthetic detergent, 15 minutes each time and 50 times, should meet the requirements. In the test, if the fabric has melted shrinkage is found to be an unqualified product.

Three. Suture strength:

The bonding or stitching strength of the joint part of the garment should be greater than 29.4N.

The quality of the flame retardant protective clothing is the key in the material.

Four, flame retardant protective clothing products.

1. cotton flame retardant protective clothing is: with the use of Pyroatex CP (N- hydroxymethyl two methyl phosphonic acid acrylamide) or Proban NX (four hydroxymethyl phosphonium chloride, urea condensate) door making finishing so that it has a flame-retardant fabric. After finishing with Proban NX, the damage to raw materials is smaller. The flame retardancy, washability and soft handle of treated fabrics are better than those treated with CP flame retardant. Proban NX is a good flame retardant for pure cotton fabric. Besides treating 100% cotton fabrics, it can also handle polyester and cotton, and it can also achieve better flame retardancy. The Prroatex CP was improved by special finishing technology combined with cross linking resin and auxiliaries. Its flame retardancy and washability were good, and the breaking strength and tearing strength of the material were also consistent with the requirements of firefighter's flame retardant protective clothing standard (GA-10). Later, using the imported proban flame retardant cloth production technology, a series of FR-101 flame retardant fabrics have been developed.

2. the flame retardant protective clothing of acrylic cotton blended fabric is made of flame retardant acrylic fiber and cotton blended fabric. The ratio of general flame retardant acrylic fiber is not less than 55%. The fabric does not need to be treated with flame-retardant effect. The comfort is better. The price is not high. It is suitable for flame-retardant tooling.

3. flame-retardant polyester and cotton protective clothing is a protective clothing made of polyester and cotton blended fabric with phosphorous flame retardant, chain resin and other materials. The flame retardancy, wash resistance, melt resistance, permeability and strength are better.

4. high temperature resistant and flame retardant protective clothing: a protective clothing made of high temperature resistant and flame resistant fabric. The following are the following:

(1) Nor Mexes: it was developed by the United States DuPont Co in 1957. It has good thermochemical and non conductive properties, and it is not melted and flame-retardant. The strength remained constant in the range of -40 ~ +200. Now, the aramid fabric has been basically mature. The products of aramid 3A fabric, raw liquid, aramid fabric and other products have been very close to DuPont's Nomex products, and the price is much lower.

(2) (Kevlar): Kevlar is 1968 by the United States DuPont Co developed a kind of high strength aramid fiber, has good thermal stability, flame retardant and without melting. The softening point is above 300 C, and the strength retention rate is 50% ~ 70% at 300 C. As a result of high strength, in addition to high temperature and flame retardant as protective clothing, can also be used in the manufacture of bulletproof vest and helmet. At present, the aramid fiber 1414, and there is a certain distance from DuPont kevlar. The main color is very different with kevlar. The price is high with the Cologne and South Korea Japan Teijin aramid 1414,

(3): PBI fiber melting point of 560 DEG C, heated at 400 DEG C for 50 hours, breaking strength remain 50%; resistant to high temperature of 500 degrees. The strength is high. PBI fiber is used in many foreign fire clothing materials in foreign countries.

(4) polyimide fiber: when heating at 300 C for 100 hours, the strength still keeps about 80%. At 450 C, it weighs only about 10%, and its temperature resistance is better than aramid fiber, and its dyeing property is poor.

(5) polysulfone fiber (Polysulfonamide): This was developed in China in the early 80s and its performance is close to the fiber of Nomex (Mexes). The protective clothing made from high temperature fiber fabric is suitable for use in special environment such as fire fighting, metallurgical furnace and so on. Because at present, the price of polysulfonamide is expensive, but the performance is different from aramid fiber. The strength of no aramid fiber is good, the flame retardant effect is better than aramid.
